Gap Year to reapply.

Hey! I am thinking of taking a gap year to reapply. I aim to apply for Mathematics. How large is the emphasis on the entrance exams? I would like to know that I am in control of whether I receive an offer or not. Thanks!

Be aware that some Uni do not like Maths applicants to take gap-years - you lose the edge on skills.
Check carefully with each Uni.

Thanks! Do they place as much emphasis on grades when compared to entrance exams? I am aiming for A*s in Maths and FM, but am probably on track for an A in my other two subjects. Will this be a big deal if I perform well in the MAT?
