Gap year

Hi is anyone taking a gap year and reapplying for 2024 entry for dentistry. I don't really know anyone who is taking a gap year and just wanted to see if anyone was In the same boat as me.

Sorry to hear that you have to reapply for dentistry - I know how draining the application process can be 😔 (specially the UCAT 🤢). HOWEVER, firstly know that GAP YEARS ARE SOOOO COMMON! I took a gap year before medicine and I was surprised to learn that so many of my peers had taken a gap year (it becomes a good common connection). So don't worry about wasting a year or being older than others when you start. Secondly, a gap year can be such an good time to work of self development or that one hobby that you always wanted to pick up - just make sure you are motivated and have a plan!
