ideolgy help politics

i dont undertand the whole ideolgy topics and im exams are literally in 30 dats (as), is their any tips or reosurces you can give me (its on liberlaism and socailism)

Hi. This is more A Level advice but I hope it helps with your GCSE:
1. Make sure you have learnt the strands for the different ideologies and you know the differences between them. For socialism, this is revolutionary socialism, social democracy, third way (and a 4th one I don't remember). For liberalism, this is classical liberalism and modern liberalism
2. Make sure you can use modern examples. A good one is Covid Lockdown
3. Put in as many key thinkers as you can as long as they are relevant. Normally, I use 4 per essay.
4. Do lots of practice questions - Get used to writing quickly
5. Have a bit of background knowledge/basic information about the strands so that you can write a good introduction
6. Have a good structure. I do 1x Introduction, 3x Main Paragraphs, 1x Conclusion
