AQA A Level chemistry alcohols 2021 Paper 3

A student plans an experiment to investigate the yield of propanoic acid when a sample of propan-1-ol is oxidised.
Figure 4 shows the apparatus that the student plans to use for the experiment.
Give one additional reagent that is needed to form any propanoic acid.

Why is the reagent not concentrated sulfuric acid ?

Because its under reflux it doesn't matter whether the acid is concentrated or dilute Just H2SO4 is sufficient personally I'd always say excess H2SO4
