At O level or A level, this is more like “fact” that you need to know.
When a light ray undergoes refraction, most of the intensity of the incident ray would go to the refracted ray while some of the intensity of the incident ray will go to the reflected ray in the same optical medium.
This is why we hardly observed the reflected ray during refraction.

But aren’t all the rays getting refracted so why is D the faintest one ?
