Help with A Level physics question

A large tank of water is used as part of an electron antineutrino detector.
An electron antineutrino enters the tank and interacts with a proton .
It produces a postitron and particle Y. I know due to conservation laws that Y is a neutron, but how do i figure out the force carrier? Mark scheme says its a w- boson but how do i figure that out for future questions? Thank you

you know that it is the weak interaction, as leptons interact through the weak nuclear force. That narrows it down to W+, W- and Z0 force carriers. however I think that this should be the W+ boson, as this corresponds with the positive charge of the positron/beta + particle? is there any other information given in the question

There is no more info given, if you want to check its question 1 in the 2021 AQA AS level paper
