The force on a car increases linearly from 0 N to 500 N over 4 seconds. What is the car's change in momentum?
Hint: force is rate of change of momentum. So change in momentum = force * time.

Thank you for your reply! I did this and my answer is 2000 Ns, but the markscheme says it’s 1000Ns.

It should be the integral or area under the force curve (force*time assumes that force is constant). So area of the triangle in this case.
