Getting grade 7

I have totally messed up paper 1 biology and chemistry. I want a grade 7 but I think I only got 20 marks in each paper. How does grading work in combined higher science. Like do they collect all paper 1 and then give you a grade or do they collect paper 1 and 2 and combine the scores and give you a grade. is there still a change that I can get 7s

last year the grade boundaries were quite low (64% for a 9-9!)
and as for the grades, they take your grade from paper 1 then they combine it with paper 2. so for example if you got a 6 on paper 1 and a 7 on paper 2, you would get a 7-6.

I think I only got like 20 in each paper so is there still a change of getting a 7 in paper 1?
