If your looking at business type course look at resitting Maths. Many universities will require grade 5 due to the Mathematical content of things like Business, Marketing, Accountancy and Finance. Did you only pass 3 GCSEs as some require 5.

Probably not, an apprenticeship or via AAT would be a much better route for you, and without the debt.

Hi @mnf777 ,
Lancaster do an accounting and finance course which requires DDM in an BTEC, i've attached the course page for you to look at to see if the course and modules interest you! Accounting and Finance BSc Hons (N400) - Lancaster University.
For GCSE'S as it says on the link above it requires a 4 for English language, which would be fine, and for maths it preferably requires a 6, but it does say that it will consider applicants with a grade 5 in maths on an individual basis. So if you look at the course and your interested in it, maybe send an email to [email protected] to clarify the GCSE maths grade, explaining how close you were to a 6, and hopefully they will be able to advise on this.
Hope this helps, and if you have any questions on Lancaster, feel free to ask!
