Assume every angle is in radians.
If an angle is in degrees, it will be explicit like 3030^{\circ} (with the degree symbol).

Yes it is in radians. You know this because it has tan(x/4) which would only work with radians (e.g. starting from x=1 would give tan(1/4) which would be in radians
