Alevel chem reacting mass calc. HELP!

page 23. https://www.scienceskool.co.uk/uploads/9/5/5/0/9550437/[02]_amount_of_substance.pdf

i've done question 5bi and got 176 moles which is right.

i'm stuck on part bii) mark scheme says to do 176 x 46 to give mass and then times by 0.8

i'm so confused why they did this. i thought first you divide 176 by 2 and then x 46 and times by 0.8

help would be appreciated, thank you

isn't it because the moles of NO go from 4 in 1st reaction to 2 in 2nd reaction?

No , thats the stoichiometry which is just the molar ratio in which things react. You're not necessarily forming 4 moles in the first reaction its just 4 moles compared to the others if that makes any sense. That same amount of moles then reacts with the next reaction in a different stoichiometry
