do you still get a gcse certificate with a grade 3?

hey, as i've mentioned in the past i'm an american transfer student (i moved here in 2021 for year 10), so this whole thing is pretty new to me. I did pretty well generally, but got a 3 in Drama which I know is not a pass (I passed every other subject). Do I still get a certificate for Drama, or would I only get those for every subject *except* drama?
oh also not related to the above question but id like to know if teachers end up knowing about your grades (my school email is going to stop working today). i think some of my teachers would be proud to know what i got  (mostly 6s, and even some 7s and 8s, apart from the aformentioned 3 and one 4 lol)

What exam board did u do ur drama exam under? If u did several subjects in one exam board it’ll still say u got a grade 3 on it. For me I did Geography, history maths and RE in Ed excel. Even though I got a three in maths they still put it on the certificate.
I do’t think u get a seperate certificate for drama though anyways unless u re-took it.

a grade 3 is pass

if you do not pass the GCSE you would have an 'ungraded' or 'withdrawn' result

A grade 3 is not a pass.
A grade 4 is a weak pass and a grade 5 is a strong pass.
A ‘U’ or ‘ungraded’ is only given when a student completely fails an exam so they don’t even get a 1.

a grade 3 is a pass

you appear to be confusing a RQF 2 level graded GCSE with a GCSE Pass in general

a 1 is a level 1 pass not level 2 where you need a 4
