Deleting your account will not delete your posts.
If you want to delete a thread (or the original post of a thread) you can make a thread in this forum to request it:https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=1215
For posts in reply to other threads you can press "edit message" then "delete" - this will still show a post was made then deleted but the post will not be visible.

I think that you can ask the community staff to delete your posts/posting history for you.
