ENGAA Doubt

Hey, I had a doubt in ENGAA exam paper 2018 https://www.undergraduate.study.cam.ac.uk/files/publications/engineering_admissions_assessment_2018.pdf
Section 2, Q17
How should I go about doing this and which chapter does this correlate to?
Also, does anyone have any resources regarding the solutions to these past papers?

It's an impulse = change in momentum question, so it's related to Q7 and more closely to questions about thrust from helicopter rotors, hosepipe nozzles, jet engines etc.

if you think about the mass of liquid (which is assumed incompressible) being accelerated into the narrow pipe per second you should have your answer.
