Dental nurse trainee

Hi everyone,
I wanted to ask, I applied on indeed and got an interview from this dental practice. I attended, and they offered me an assessment day straight away.
I went to the assessment day on Monday for half day, and then I just got an email that I was unsuccessful ?
Can anyone advise me on what went wrong???

I have worked as a dental nurse for a year and a half now and it’s a great job. When I applied I was interviewed and offered job straight away. I’ve never had to work a trial shift and this seems unusual for a dental nurse job. I would email them back and ask if you could have feedback on your performance and if there was a reason you was unsuccessful so you can improve for next time. Keep applying there’s loads of dental practices looking for new nurses.
