I have been offered a place on the LLB Law Hons course. I have been researching and I have seen the M Law Exempting Bar Course. I was wondering if anyone could give me an insight to this course and how competitive it is. Also what law at Northumbria is like in general. I am predicted to finish college with D* A* B.
Hi Kei, firstly, congratulations on your offer!

The M Law Exempting Bar Course is one of the choices available at the end of year 2 on the LLB course so you have plenty of time to decide. You have to meet a number of requirements to do this course such as successful completion of the BCAT atitude test and admission to one of the four Inns of Court. Here is more information on the course: https://www.northumbria.ac.uk/study-at-northumbria/courses/law-llb-hons-uuslwz1/m-law-exempting/.

I am a business student myself and share the same builidng as Law students and I love the building and facilities in it, I think it's the best building on campus (definitely not biased).

I hope this helps, let me know if you have any further questions 🙂
