does anyone predict any particular questions? I am praying that there is no repeat of last year's 'enlightenment' 12-marker for theme C because if you don't take buddhism (like me) that's tough

Islam “do not take a life which god had made sacred” can be used in all themes

"love thy neighbour" against war, retribution
"do not harm a living thing/avoid causing suffering [Buddhism]"
"the lord is a warrior" for war, god using violence
"do not have relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable" against homosexuality/ same sex marriage
"turn the other cheek" pacifism
"blessed be the peacemakers" diplomacy
[basically anything Jesus said or thought / love and kindness]
"do not murder" nukes, abortion, death penalty, euthanasia, (this+ stewardship = against meat eating)
"lesser of two evils" for abortion, euthanasia,

I can’t remember it was ages ago but I highly suggest tho that you revise everything for theme B as it’s got the most topics. Just revising the questions that will come up for your mock won’t benefit you in the long run! My advice as is to revise everything just in case bc for the real thing you have no idea what will come up

i knoww its just that this was very last minute because i prioitised core subjects but generally im doing well in re just themes is a weakness

it came up on my test it was so difficult something like ' evolution was proved the religious belief of origins of life to be wrong' but im not sure if my teachers made it or not

GCSE helper

For AQA RS I would recommend revision notes made by ' CSandRS ' on stuvia (a website with revision notes). Those are the notes I used for my GCSE and got a 9 so I would really recommend. Just memorise those notes and you will smash any exam as they have everything you need to know (eg belief, influence, importance, quotes). Just search CSandRS on the stuvia search bar.
Also, the best way to memorise the notes is by making them into ANKI flashcards OR by constantly reading over them.
I hope this helps anyone doing AQA RS 🙂
