Welcome to the GCSE Biology Study Group!

This is where you can chat to others students taking your subject as you prepare for your GCSE exams this summer.

What can I do in these groups?

Almost anything! If you need help with a certain topic, want to rant about something you are struggling with or just want to support other students who are trying to prepare, this is the place for you. We want these to be a useful place for everyone no matter what you're looking for!

What can't I do in these groups?

Asking or offering copyright papers is against our site rules, and so is taking conversation off-site to do these things. Any posts doing this will be removed. That's the only rule

hmmm...I remember that there's one 3 marker about osmosis, sth like why potato dipped in a certain concentration's (I forgot what number it was) solution has a decrease in mass? there's also a 6 marker about evaluate meat burger and meat free burger, they give u a table and you use the table to evaluate it so don't worry about that. the last 6 marker I can remember is about why will the tree die if it's root is damaged?

yeah i did it for a mock. there was a question to do with how to make monclonal antibodies. and a few other ones relating to it - like one do with how they can be used to treat HIV
one relating to body temperature , sufrace area and metabolism
some question about the nutritional content on a burger when the gave u a table of like the fat, carbs, and sutff
that all i can remember

It was... okay I was annoyed about the 6 marker
I also had English straight after as I had a clash so that was stressful

Not looking forward to AQA Biology Paper 2... the two previous papers i've done - 2018 and 2022 - give me the impression that these papers are very graph interpretation and weird experiment heavy. There's also far more stuff to remember than paper 1 and ecology is a complete bore of a topic
