I did the ac back in december, they ask scenario based questions like managing deadlines, retaining quality in work etc. Have a good answer to why rsm and why the role. Prepare competency based in terms of the skills mentioned in job desc. For the group task, you will have a paired task and a group one. For them just try to work together as much as possible, always include everyone in the convo but dont be too controlling let others speak etc.

Thank you! Still haven’t received a proper confirmation for the AC unfortunately. My date has already been moved twice…getting quite discouraged

Micro exercise 1: reviewing a data set and providing suggestions as to what RSM should do
Micro exercise 2: is like a calendar management task no way to prep for it, just focus on the time
Interview: 10-12 situational questions, look on Glassdoor for examples
group exercise: best part, just work well with your team. And contribute!!

You’ll be fine : )
I managed to get an offer with barely any prep. Also do some research into any initiatives RSM has done that interested you

Thank you so much for the reply, that’s quite helpful I really appreciate it. Just another thing did you have to present anything to the assessors also it’s virtual so how does that work are we split into different rooms. Once again thank you.

You get put into breakout rooms. For the micro exercises, you’re just presenting your ideas back, you don’t have to create a power point or anything.

Also the assessors are lovely! You’ll honestly enjoy it. It’s the best AC I’ve done. Be calm, be yourself, you’ve got this ❤️

Even though I was the only skl leaver in mine and everyone was grads, it was honestly the best group I’ve worked in for an AC! Everyone is so respectful and inclusive

Oh okay and do we present the ideas only to the assessors rather than to everyone. This seems like it’s pretty calm and a great experience from the way you’ve described it. Congratulations on getting an offer.

Just to the assessors! The micro exercises are 1:1 with the assessor.

Hi you mentioned looking at Glassdoor for example answers, however almost all of the comments I’m seeing are talking about questions that came up for them in the video interviews during the job simulation. During the AC interview do they ask similar questions as to the video questions or are the questions more like tell me about a time you worked in a team, why audit etc just the general questions that are normally asked in any interview. Thank you

You’re given a situation, and how you’d respond.
There’s a few tell me about a time questions too.
All the questions relate to their core values in my opinion

Did you prepare for the interview questions beforehand like memorising anecdotes that cover skills needed for the job and that may relate to the questions they might ask. Sorry for asking so many questions, this is my first AC so I just really don’t know what to expect. Thank you for all the help.

Nope, didn’t memorise anything. As long as you have good motivations for why you applied, and keep in mind their core values I think you’ll be fine ☺️

Can I ask when you responded to the questions were your answers long or quite short I heard an answer should go on for about two minutes and not longer than that.
