    That's quite a dodgy one as well. The first page of google tells me that a jiffy is one or more of:
    1/50th of a second or 1/60th of a second [as in CPU clock cycles]
    1/100th of a second
    1 light-foot (~1 nanosecond) or 1 light-cm (~33 picoseconds) [physics nerds]

    Ah right - ok then, better hadn't use that one. I've always known it as 1/100th! Didn't realise there were other definitions!
