When I filled out my occupational health check form, I had a BMI of just under 30, but since then over the summer I have gained around 7kg, and do not have an under 30 BMI anymore. Will this matter to my med school?

Your med school will want you to be happy and healthy, but not to the level they are going to be punitive about your BMI, so no, it will not bother them if your BMI is >30. Have a great time at med school
