Leeds mentioned it didn't focus on ucat score

Hi I have a very low ucat score 2260 SJT 3. I'm absolutely gutted. I wanted to go to Leeds, and they said they don't focus on Ucat. Do you know how much they don't?
Have I got a chance if I apply?
3 predicted AAA for Alevel and a distinction in Sports Science Btec
gcse: 988888876
Work experience: shadowed a doctor for a week, and interacted with patients. I'm a leader of a scout group and deal with many situations with groups of children. Have been an athletics trainer with children. A patrol leader in South Korea with the scouts, work as a waitress and help in the kitchens. I'm due to work in a care home this month.
Thank you for any advice, or other options I may have.

they will score on ucat and gcses, and the prediction made on here is that if you have maximum gcse points i.e. 8 grade 8s/9s (inc core subjects) then you'll probably need a 2700 or 2750+ ucat. have you considered sitting the bmat?

Thank you. I thought thst might be the case. It was the statement that Leeds said, that they don't focus on Ucat, but the details weren't clear. I haven't considered the BMAT. I am very limited to where I can ho with that though aren't I?

To be honest, you are probably extremely limited in where you can apply with your UCAT score.

Are you eligible for the UCAT Bursary at all? If so you still have time to apply. This can be helpful. It's on the UCAT website but be quick.

This relies on you you being contextual. Do you qualify for any foundation courses? If interested in Leeds specifically, access to Leeds? or within a local postcode?

BMAT might widen the scope but it is quite late to be starting revision. I think you have a few more days to register, so decide quick. It may be that the academic nature of BMAT serves you well.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not eligible for the bursary. I was told that possibly Cardiff is an option with a very low ucat score? Do you know if this is the case?. I was hoping for Leeds but it hasn't worked out, by the looks of it. I went to South Korea with the scouts and only had a month to practice the ucat technique, which for me wasn't long enough. I noticed that last year Cardiff took a student that had a ucat score of 2180. I am trying to look at all my options before taking a gap year, which I'd rather not do, if possible. Bmat wasn't an option, because of time constraints. Thank you for your help

I'm not sure what you mean by qualify for foundation courses. I have looked at Gateway to Medicine but I'm not eligible. Also what is a ucat bursary? Thanks for taking the time to help
