Have you been given the task yet?
Presumably you'll need to:
1. Create a plan - what will you measure, control, vary. What equipment will you use? etc.
2. Carry out experiment
3. Analyse results of experiment - graph, error bars, what does the graph show (wrt actual numerical data), explanation for certain trends, anomalous data, reliability, etc.
4. Conclusion + Evaluation - did it prove your hypothesis? What were the main trends in the data? Was your data accurate/ reliable? Sources for uncertainties? Further experiments? etc.
