How Lenient is UoL?

I've applied for Law w/ German at Liverpool and received a conditional offer of ABB including minimum B grade in German so I was wondering whether if I was to get A* in German and BC in my other subjects would they still take me? I know that it comes down to the uni and other candidates but is there any chance? I've read a thread where people got BBB but were still able to do ABB requirement courses and someone else got ABC and never got in. So my question is there a chance especially with their being no January exams? Although my exams went well I'm still a bit nervous. .help?

My friend got in with ABC with the offer being ABB for biochemistry. (C was in chemistry)

Wow is the course generally oversubscribed? He's lucky was this last year?

Yes. Most universities will accept a single grade deficit for their offers. You'll be fine. Don't worry about it :smile:

Not true, a lot of unis (Oxbridge, LSE, UCL, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Durham, KCL, Bristol) generally won't budge on the most popular courses, like law, except for extenuating circumstances.

Liverpool should be fine though, especially with an A*
