Geometric Progression

Hey guys would anyone able to guide me on answerigng questions 7&8?

Start with Q7:

1st year : A
2nd year : A x 1.035
3rd year : A x 1.035 x 1.035

This forms a geometric sequence with 1st term A and ratio 1.035. What's the nth term of this sequence?

Then which value of n gives 2A?

I checked the markscheme and my answers aren't right. The answers are 1 lower than what I got for n, ie. 11.2 and 20.15
