I don't think so personally but it could still come up. If it does, i would suspect it to involve the masses of the objects joining up at some point during the collision.

Good Luck!

Was there any repetitions in the depth paper of biology? :smile:

Nope, i do Biology was easy to predict basically exactly what came up. Everything that wasn't tested in Bredth came up in Depth. Handy to know, but have completely forgotten what can up in our Physics Bredth! Anyone got any predictions?

How do you find the resistivity of a wire and what graph would you plot??

row = RA/L

A = pie r^2 (via micrometer)
Set up a circuit varying the length of wire.
Find P.D and current through the varying length.
Use R = V/I to find resistances at the length
Plot a graph of R against L.
Find the gradient and multiply by the CSA to give resistivity.

I'm also stuck on how frequency varies with Length/ Tension and moun??
something to do with the equation f=1/2l (square root T/moun):redface:
can you help please?:smile:
Can someone explain how to answer this question step by step:

The photocell is connected to a 12V supply and a sensitive ammeter which can detect a current of 1x10^-9A. Only 5% of the photons of average energy 4×10^-19J incident on the plate A cause electrons to be released. Calculate the minimum light energy that plate A must absorb per second for the photocell circuit to detect a current.
Also what sort of experiments could they ask you on potential dividers?
Did we get asked about plancs constant on paper 1? (I cant remember) because otherwise thats a potential 6 marker

That question was a 6 marker on the specimen, I doubt they will put it again. I am guessing Youngs double slit 100%

What is moun?

What is moun?

i actually dunno if you call it moun in this experiment but it looks like a moun from particle physics
but it in the experiment it is equal to mass per unit length (m/l):smile:
Anyone got any tips on how to approach circuit questions? I struggle with them the most even tho I have a good grasp of the concepts and rules. Cheers:smile:

Well it depends on what they ask you. Usually find the current around the whole circuit then, I you have a resistor in series find the pd of that. After using Kirchoffs laws you can find Resistors in parallel etc
anyone got any tips on the moments questions, like the ones in the two specimens
i find those really hard

thanks for the help
both papers it asks u to calculate tension which u have to do by calculating moments
those are really hard

Do you think electricity and internal resistance is going to come up.
Did it come up in the breadth paper. I cant remember.
