You don't think an accountant working in an accountancy firm can become a partner...?

The Chairman of PwC is a chartered accountant.

Like anyone else at the firm?

You work hard, get good performance ratings, get promoted, start to take on more of a leadership and client origination role.. And hopefully, after 15+ years and a very stringent vetting process, you get called up to be a partner within one of the audit/tax/advisory practices.

Yes.

Google their graduate schemes. (GCSEs will not matter when you have A-levels and a Degree, except possibly minimum requirements for Maths and/or English).

Easier for an accountant than an actuary actually, something to do with being an accountancy firm
