"Write down the equation of the line that is perpendicular to 3x - y = 1 and passes through (0,9)"
Is the question would my answer of y= -1/3x+9 be correct?
If it is correct or incorrect could someone please explain the steps to get the answer?

Why are you posting this again?

What does 1/3x mean 1/(3x) or 1/3 of x

I didn't reply because I didn't understand what you meant by 1/3x as its unclear. It looks fine - you can always tag me if you need need
