i just turned 18 a month ago and will be studying PPE at Hild & Bede (missed out on my first choice - Gov&Econ at LSE!!!!!).....

btw: how good is BEDE and HILD..and how do i prnounce "Bede" - is it B-E-D-E or B-E-D?? :confused:

what about the college itself, you seem to be studying at durham, is it a good college? cuz i have the feeling tthey placed me into it only for the sports...........which i hope is not true :smile:

I don't really want to get dragged intot he internecine squabbles...

Hild-Bede is a good college, it's big by Durham standards and whilst it is good for sports it does a lot of other stuff, for example it has an extremely popular film club/cinema and it has quite a nice bar.
Goldenbarnes knows more about Hild-Bede than I.

I will study Economics in Durham, and live in Butler...

I have never been to Britain before, so I am a little afraid... :redface:

Nothing to fear really. on sundays we sacrifice virgins to the god of despair followed by tea in the cloyster with the bishop (glen hodle) and a few of his demonic followers. Other than that and of course our sadistic rituals of cattle slaughter dedicated to kain the blood god with which we summon the forces of evil and destroy anyone with a mullet or more than 5 badges pinned on their jacket at any given time - you should be fine. Unless you're a virgin or you have a mullet.
