I never did GCSEs myself but one of my classmates I remember had failed his in Mathematics IGCSE back in 2013. He retook it as the school gave him provisional admission for sixth form and got a D, then did his AS levels a term late and studied like hell to scrape an A somehow (he kept saying he wasn't sure how he'd managed it). To everyone's surprise, he ended year 13 with an A grade in math where he'd entered it with a U.
EDIT: Also, he's now headed to Warwick for mechanical engineering
4Bs, 1C and a couple of Btecs at M and D*. A*A*A* at A level and 0 social life.
Which subjects did you study and what are your future career/education aspirations as of now? If you don't mind me asking. P.S congratulations on achieving those grades.
