oh yes i remember splinter from the open day, unfortunately. he was a big headed geek who thought he was cool, and had some mega resentment against cambridge - didnt even seem enthusiastic about lse at all. he kept saying 'but i go to kings college old boy'. dieplskthx

Why the LSE? Ummm. I guess I just wanted somewhere completely different and full of interesting people (when you've spent 18 years in rural Oxfordshire cental London becomes really rather appealing).

Fave band/artist: This is so hard. It entirely depends on my mood. Counting Crows, Ryan (not Brian) Adams, The Killers, Snow Patrol, Willy Mason, U2, Garbage, Alanis Morassette, REM, Placebo (ok, I'm sure you get the gist by now, I'll stop).
Fave song: Ooooo even harder. I'd have to say Round Here by Couting Crows for the beautiful lyrics.
Fave TV show: I have to admit, TV for me involves mindless escapism. Therfore it would have to be the OC. Oh, and Black Books. Hillarious.
Fave films: Hmmm. I'm not a big film person. Can I change this to favourite books? The Solitaire Mystery, Cider with Rosie, 1984, The Cider House Rules, Cold Comfort Farm and I Capture the Castle.
Fave hobby: The gym, pilates and swimming.
Fave colour: Green.
Fave food: I find this changes all the time. At the moment its cherries. But pasta and chocolate are perminant favourites.
Fave sport: Well, I love rowing and netball and I quite enjoyed hockey (although my talent in it was really quite non-existent). However, I dont really enjoy the competative aspect of sports so i sort of gave them up.

Jin was a rapper on the RR label, but retired his name and is apparently making a comeback as "The Emcee"; pity, because he's an absolutely sick rapper, and that was one of the stupidest career moves he could make.

Gilels and Zimerman are pianists, though I wouldn't expect their names to be recognised here (hell, I'd practically joygasm if they were :biggrin:).

But yeah, my music tastes are pretty eclectic. hip hop, rnb, drum and bass (I'm a big jungle/dnb fan :biggrin:), all the way through classical. :cool:
