Hey fellow Psychology Students!

Recently, I've been looking at ways to expand on the success of the weekly Study Together sessions we’re running every Tuesday evenings (https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7443741) and one idea we’ve had is to run similar sessions for students studying Psychology :biggrin:

The idea would be to have weekly sessions lasting an hour where you can come online and revise Psychology with other students. It feels like it could be a great way to build confidence with the content, as well as being a fun and sociable way to get some studying done.

anyone have any pointers on how to be smart with paper 3? ive been putting all my energy on paper 1 and 2, kinda forgot about the existance of paper 3 lol

can any1 give an exam structure to use for paper 3 questions? struggling with p3 as i feel like i haven't focused on it enough

Use Quizlet decks on issues and debates definitions and then make a mind map for each debate there are 11 debates in total in my college dk about you also I can send you an example 20 marker after paper 2 on Wednesday when I will start revising for paper 3 and do a past paper !

Well if you are revising paper 1 and 2 then you should be able to answer the debates know the general idea of each debate and make a mind map what you would write for like a 20 marker use your fav topics so like for example if it’s nature nurture debate you could say biological - nature - for example brain functioning determined by birth not by environment and social is nurture - e.g agency theory - we are socialised to obey authority - nurture and for 16 marker make sure you know your classic studies inside out and know definitions for issues and debates use Quizlet decks for definitions also do all past papers and also know supporting and refuting evidence for both paper 1 and 2 that you can use to answer 12 and 6 markers and also know your research methods which you must have been revising during paper 1 and 2 if u want me to look at any 20 marker that u write let me know I love paper 3 so much I hope this helps

I only use tsr on laptop. On laptop, there's a camera button which allows you to upload pictures, I'll try to remember to remind you on Wednesday as well ahaha my memory is bad as well lmao

Oh right I use it on phone but it’s fine I will send you it though my laptop and I will put a reminder on my phone :smile:

My teacher was going through it today and she said the only issue and debates topics that haven’t come it it psychological knowledge and socially sensitive I think??
But they repeat them sometimes so I’d say just look at everything 🥲
