No I don't see it.

Pft, my reasoning is perfectly correct. Stop trying to mislead these vulnerable people.

And you said 2! = 17...

Flawed, sorry.

I don't understand what you've done, but I think it's pretty safe to say that it's utter crap.

squareroot of -i = (-i)^1/2 = 1 + (-i)^1/2 - 1 != 2, since 2^2 = 4 != -i.

Now 2 != 17

=> (-i)^1/2 = 17.

Maybe I'm being stupid, but does 2! not mean 2 factorial i.e. 2*1 and therefore just 2? To be honest I lost you after squareroot (-i) =(-i)^1/2

Don't worry, happens to the best of us.

Can I get rep for that?

Just out of curiosity, where did 17 come from?

And is sqrt(-1) = 1?

You guys do realise that != just means "not equal to?"

17 is the magical number of the elk fairies.

No it isn't.

(-1)^(1/2) is denoted as 'i'. It doesn't exist, but is damn useful!

Programming convention uses !=
