The end of movie madness is nigh. Only two films remain. Which will reign supreme? You decide.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

Director: Frank Darabont
Starring: Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman

Perhaps the most famous box office flop ever, The Shawshank Redemption made up for it's poor initial return with a second wind on home release based almost solely on word of mouth, catapulting it to the top of many people's film lists. Spanning decades, the film looks at life in prison and a blossoming friendship between the prison's fixer and a man convinced of his own innocence.

The Shawshank Redemption got to the final by seeing off Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Casablanca, Inception and Forrest Gump.

The Dark Knight (2008)

Director: Christopher Nolan
Starring: Christian Bale, Heath Ledger

Nolan's take on the caped crusader is not so much a comic book movie as it is a sprawling crime drama. With Gotham plunged into chaos by Heath Ledger's maniacal Joker, it is left to Batman, officer Gordon and district attorney Harvey Dent to try and stop him.

The Dark Knight got to the final by beating M, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Silence of the Lambs, Fight Club and The Lord of the Rings: The Return Of The King.
