Well, concerning the whole 'you may need to refer back to it' thing I think with the existence of the internet that's a null point.
You MAY want to consider keeping it for sentimental reasons - I'd personally find a year 10/11 and pass them on to them.
You can sell old books on ebay too.
I've just finished A-Levels - I gave my chemistry notes to my cousin because they're badass af but I've recycled everything else. It's just immature to set fire to it.
Surely if u need to refer back to something, it would just be easier to google it ..
I chucked everything away in a bag but burnt my school uniform as a proper way of demonstrating what I thought of my school by the end of gcses (I kept the tie and cut around the badge from the blazer though haha).

I've got my incinerator ready and plenty of past papers to get the thing going:colone:

revision guides etc i've given away

my own notes/full books i've saved up as fuel for a massive fire when me and my friends go camping next week

As to having to refer back to your books, I never actually learnt anything from my lessons/books, just looked it up on the internet/revision guides
Just went to the dump yard to throw away LOADS of past papers and stuff
I sold my GCSE books a long time ago. The parents got them as a bargain

Me and my friends are having a burning session for all our A-Level notes  can't wait!

How stupid. Why would you burn 2 years of work, just keep it in your attick or something. What if you need to refer back to GCSE material sometime?

I know it's slightly different for me seeing as it's A-Level but I KNOW I'm never going to need to know about how men are represented in adverts or films (Media Studies) or how to differentiate an equation (Maths) again :P I'm going to Uni to do Popular Music so I will keep my Music Tech notes because I KNOW they are likely to come in handy  but I will just say that I have NEVER, over the past two years, look back through my GCSE notes.

My friend who did Bio and Chem at A-Level never used her GCSE notes because they will teach you it again to make sure everyone knows and they will also go into it in MUCH more detail :P

If you want to be 'extra safe' then go ahead but I'm with the OP, there's some things you can be certain you won't need :P

If you have any revision guides give them away to someone who can't afford it? It would be a lot more useful than burning them

Textbooks are not included, they still have a value unlike all the other work.

Couldn't have put it better myself.
I created a tiny museum for my old books....much attached.
Won't burn, or sell or ruin them in any way.
I still have most of mine sitting on my bedroom floor... Not really sure what to do with it all lol hmmm
Think I'm gonna wait till after results day till I decide to go and destroy everything !! LoooL
Back when I finished GCSEs, someone burned a revision guide in the woods. His name in the top corner of the book remained unharmed so he ended up getting caught and being given quite a lecture by firemen . True story.
Nah, just recycling everything. Filling up a whole bag full of old notes is quite relieving anyway
I still have most of mine lying around. If I can be bothered to try and get rid of them, I'll probably just sell them to some Yr 10/11 cos I need the money

I dunno what to do
Sixth form 1
My current school
Been here since year 7. Know loads of people and get on well with the teachers. They have had good results over the past years with people getting into Oxbridge colleges despite being a state school in an area with grammar's and lots of people on benefits. I want to be a maths teacher and they offer A-level maths but not further maths. The class sizes are quite small with this school. They don't do general studies or the epq I don't think or it isn't compulsory. They have sixth forms mentor younger students but not much else. The dress code is very relaxed.

Sixth form 2
The local grammar school
This sixth form has a better ofsted rating that my current one. I know a few people going there but am not close to anyone. They offer further maths for a-level. Everyone has to do the epq and general studies. The dress code is very strict which I find annoying. I don't know any of the teachers or people that currently attend.

Help please !!

Maybe you would get better advice if you made a new thread about your problems instead of spamming unrelated topics.

Nah. I just threw out sheets of paper and other things which aren't useful.
