I did make up for it though by going into the library from 8am this morning. I left 6pm so I did get a lot done and read.

Do you want to do a little meet up before Friday? Like bring your Somali friends and non somali's if you want and I'd do the same. Like an icebreaker 😋

Try till 12 am. I think I spend more time in the library in a day than anything else. ~11+ hours here per day.

Are you being derogatory?

I don't spend that long in the library maybe 7-8 hours max but eleven would be too much I would get nauseous if I spent all my time in a library.

Chill out its first year bro. I could never spend that much time at a library. I need to socialise and interact with humans! I'd be bored out of my mind

There are always people in the library. O.O In the trading room, there's always people to discuss trade ideas with and value securities. It's fun  Also polish up on excel skills and learn new concepts. Think of it as an area of knowledge and development rather than something tedious.

So you want to be a corporate investment banker

A corporate investment banker? What even is this?

I aim to work in asset management or DCM/debt restructuring. Which is yes, essentially Invesmtent Banking.

Sure, get a visitors badge somehow and come down to Cass Business School, it's near Old Street Station.

A corporate investment banker:
The main role of a corporate investment banker is to advise companies, institutions and governments on how to achieve their financial goals and implement long and short-term financial plans.

I doubt they'd let you in without a valid reason, i.e attending an event. They don't let even City University students in, and they're part of the university.
