I wouldnt lie because you cant guarantee that they wont check, however do you live out during term time? If you dont live at home during term time and you are only living at home in the holidays would it be possible to spend slightly more time at your mums and thus be able to stay you spend equal time at each and get yourself more money.
yeah, i wouldn't lie - my friends having problems with her loans at the mo because they think she lied, so her installments are always a hassle to recieve, and they're always 2 months late, which isn't very useful.
