Topshop - Returning items that are now in the sale.

I paid full price for some clothes from Topshop around 2 weeks ago and a couple of pieces have now gone in the Boxing Day sale. I wanted to return the things but haven't had chance to do so until after Christmas.

Will Topshop refund me the purchase price of the current selling price?
I have the receipt.

If you have a receipt It's the price you paid. If not they don't have to give you anything and if they do it'll be the sale price in credit or something.

I have the receipts and I'm still within the 28 day period but for some reason I've got it in my head they might only give me the sale price unless faulty.

They will only give you back whatever it's selling for right now.

No. If you have the receipt you'll get what you paid.

I was always under the impression that they would give a full refund if you have a receipt. If you don't then you get an exchange at the current market value.
