History degree at Portsmouth?

Hi,

I have had my offers and I am leaning considerably towards Portsmouth to study History.

Does anyone have experience of the University for this particular degree?

I am also considering Plymouth and Winchester so if anyone had any advice/feedback on either of those uni's studying History that would be awesome!

Remember that not all History courses are the same. Read all the descriptions of all the optional units etc available at each Uni for all years of the course. Think about what you would actually choose - and why. Also think about the value of a Year Abroad if this is on offer or a work placement - either will give you an edge when looking for a graduate job.
