Hmm. I think you want an equation without t in it. Just to check, how did you get that equation?

Then get the equation for the other tangent then you can do the question :smile:

Like that, I got the equation without t in it but I presumed it won't help. How do you get the equation of either tangent?

I've managed to get the x coord, but getting the wrong y coord. x coord is 2(t1 + t2)

So, your x-coordinate is 2(t1+t2)2(t_1+t_2), and if you sub that back into either tangent equation, you should get the y-coordinate as 2t1t22t_1t_2
