Ask A Sabbatical Officer - Post your goldsmiths related questions here.

Hey everyone,

I am full time elected officer who works at the students union at goldsmiths. Full time officers are essentially paid student reps and part of my role is to facilitate things such as societies, activities and campaigns we run and I have decided to help answer questions for offer holders, interested parties who want to come to Goldsmiths

I've been on TSR for a while under different account since like '08 and I've seen multiple threads about various things which either go unanswered or misinformed.

A little about myself - I attended goldsmiths between 2011-2014. Studied Comp Sci, Lived at Home as I am from London. I attended another London College before Goldsmiths so i have two different experiences.

I got involved in different things such as sport (Captained the Men's 1st football team), Got Involved with loads of societies (Poetry, Music, Anime etc etc...) , Went to gigs, performances , exhibitions during my time there.

tl;dr Basically Ask me anything about Goldsmiths life - hopefully mods/admins can get this thread can be pinned as I'll get people at my union to ensure questions are answered.

Some quick things to mention -

"What is X course like? threads"

- Goldsmiths has a lot of societies many of which contain students who are currently on the
courses which you'll be studying. Many of which have fb groups which discuss course
content and experiences. so e.g if you study English MA/UG there is the English society
(which boasts the highest no of soc membership - where you can pose a question and just
ask students.)
