Uncertain about Physics P2 topics

Basically in my CGP revision book there are about 2 whole pages full of notes on electricity, transformers, etc. However, it's not in the textbook we were given in school and I don't think I remember it coming up in the past papers. This is for P2, do we need to know this?

Transformers is in P3. As for electricity, we only need to know about circuits, RCCB's, fuses and plugs.
