Well I have a LAMDA (London Accademy of Music and Dramatic Art) exam tomorrow, and the piece I am working on for that is The Merchant Of Venice.

Does anybody know the different Shakesperean eras, and which The Merchant Of Venice was written in?? I believe it was the 2nd era, but I dont know which one that is.

    Thanks. Iblis.

it was written in the 2nd- the Baroque i think..i could be mistaken

    good luck

edit:i went a looked it up and im sure that it is the Baroque period which was 1600-1750 so it was written at the start of that era..
