Mathematics vs. mathematics and computer science?
I'm really torn about whether I should apply for mathematics or a joint degree in mathematics and computer science. I am in the IB, and have a predicted grade of 42, with 776 at HL (including math). I want to apply to Oxford, Warwick, Edinburgh, Bath and Bristol. I have no experience in computer science, I just think it is really interesting. Also, I am considering a joint degree in the first place because I think that taking pure maths might be a bit boring. I have two questions: Which course do you think I should choose, and to which course do you think is it easier to get accepted?
