This is bond enthalpy change, but from what I can remember it's propanol, as both are exothermic reactions but there is a bigger difference in energy change (loss) in the combustion of propanol.

Curiously, my Y10 class did this prac just this afternoon.

They found that the longer the chain length, the more energy was released per gram of fuel.
