# Urgent help needed!!!! watch

1. The answer is a=1.3 or -1.3 and k=pi/6 but I don't understand where these results come from...have no idea at all Urgent help plzzzzz, my core 4 exam is this afternoon
2. a is your maximum hence it is 1.3
3. The other part is to do with maximums on the cos graph so the max can occur at Pi or 2pi or -pi when cos()=1 hence 12k=2pi so k equals pi/6 something like that

Yeah the whole trick to this question is that cosx is at a maximum when X = 2npi
