How can I get summer work in France ?

I am going back to Uni at the end of September, and would like to do an Erasmus in France the following year. Since I speak very little French I would like to participate in a seasonal work or voluntary scheme this summer. I would be interested primarily in something where I can live and work with people my age and learn some French, it would also have to be relatively cheap since I don't have alot of money. I have absolutely no idea where to look or who to ask for help. It could be too late for all I know, Ideally I would like something between the months of June and September.

Can anyone give me any advice or recommend anything ? I'm hopelessly stuck since I have spent the past few hours clicking on websites and not getting anywhere.
