M3 CoM question

This question pops up frequently on here.
You may find it helpful to redraw the diagram with OA horizontal.
You have the position of the CofM from the previous part.
You require that the vertical through the centre of mass, cuts the base between O and A, and this will give you an inequality that will reduce to the desired result.
This should clear it up!
It's usually a case of recognising a set of similar triangles and the rest of the working out is usually not too difficult.
