Would some gcse papers be marked already?

I sat my first gcse exam like two weeks ago and it just made me curious. Could it be marked yet?

It may be marked in the sense that the ticks and crosses are added to the paper. But it won't be fully marked as in having a grade available. They have to see how everyone does top figure out where grade boundaries lie, and they're unlikely to have finished that process already

Maybe. But so what if it is? Doesn't change anything.

Possibly - we're currently in marking. But as papers are marked per question rather than per script it's unlikely that the whole paper has been marked yet.
