I got this too, pretty sure it’s correct?

1- (-0.9) = 1.9

not 0.1

2 minuses= plus

i think it was 35X^2 - 14X^3/2

Thank you but how about the original equation. Im trying to work through it atm.

Im pretty sure With A at 19,000, R=-0.9 and the sum of the first 12 terms, putting them together into the equation, you get 12824.29356. Not the 7,176 whatever you wrote..
6c) Is surely wrong, because i keep plugging it in, and i get the same 12,824 not 7176

The sum tends to infinity which ends at 10,000 (as given). The exam put in a bit to trick you with (-0.9) ^12 which gives a result of 12824 because the calculator doesn't factor in the - sign. Therefore, the answer is 7176 as it cannot exceed the sum to infinity which is 10,000.
For question 8 was it son= 1/3 and sin = 1/4 becuase i got different answers than his. and i got 218 and a third for the last answer. Did everyone agree with his answers for question 8

how many marks do you lose if you write 12824
What was question 7?

I got sin = 1/3 and sin = -1/4
I remember simplifying the equation to 12 sin ^2 + sin - 1

Pretty sure the 14X was to the power of 5/2 ?
question 8 is actually 0.334, 2.80 , 3.39, 6.03 his answers are definitely wrong and sin =1/3 and -1/4
